While preparing to teach “The Great Lie” by Martha Kilpatrick, I was overwhelmed by God’s first question found in Genesis 3. I had to unravel the truth packed within the gift of this question. “But the Lord God called to the man, ‘Where are you?’” Genesis 3:9 The beauty of this question is that God knew exactly where Adam and Eve were. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34 Recently I have found myself waking in the middle of the night with a gazillion thoughts racing through my mind. The simplest of things seem huge at three in the morning. Unable to stop the thoughts, they run wide open like a freight train that jumped the track. The thoughts take me to the craziest places and I am always trying to figure it all out.
As I have listened to days and days of storm warnings, I feel that this blog needs a warning. It is not cute and it is not fluffy. It holds great truth that I believe is very timely. All of life on this earth points to a greater truth and I know that Hurricane Dorian is awakening me. So I share with you, my readers who journey with me each week. I pray that you and I will listen and respond to the warning. “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations
