Encourage Yourself

Last week I wrote about the power of encouragement. (Click here to read it.) I gave a challenge for all to arise to the calling of cheerleader and to be spirit-raisers for one another. We will probably never know the impact of our encouragement, but it is a wonderful privilege to be a part of Hebrews 12:24-25. “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” After the last writing some questions began to surface within. What if there is no cheerleader in your life? What if there is no one around speaking truth and tell

Bring Out The Cheerleaders

One is the way that He is calling us to pause, listen and watch. “All creation praises Him.” “Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs.” Psalm 66:4 Jesus taught us to pause and “consider the birds of the air and the lilies of the field. “ Matthew 6 is a beautiful scripture calling us to trust Him at a deeper level. He is drawing us to a quiet and simple life that ha
