"Let the word of Christ have its home in your hearts and minds and dwell in you in all its richness…" Colossians 3:16 AMP

My life is proof that the Word of Christ in a life transforms everything. It has power to overtake any situation, any circumstance, any life and totally transform it. Jesus Himself is the living Word sent from above. He came down from heaven and lived on this earth. And today He continues to come down to where we are and turn ordinary into extraordinary.

He is willing and able, but the first word of our key verse holds much meaning. (“Let...”) We must allow, or permit the word of Christ to do its transformational work. You might ask how that happens. I invite His word into my heart and mind. Swing wide open the door of your heart and mind and ask God’s Spirit to flood your soul so that your very being is saturated with His word of truth.

He wants to take up residence within us. Not just an occasional visit; but actually move in and dwell in us. His word is rich and powerful and when we allow His word to live within us, it has the power to change our thinking, turn our unbelief into belief, give us new perspectives. His word gets deep within us and actually overtakes us.

"For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." Hebrews 4:12

Will you LET His word move into your heart and mind in a fresh new way today? As you open His word, LET it have its home within you. You watch, you wait, you will see how He changes you.

Do you want wisdom by which to live your life? Let the word of Christ dwell in you.

Do you need something to lift your sad spirit? Let the word of Christ dwell in you.

Do you wish something would calm your angry mind? Let the word of Christ dwell in you.

Do you long to be delivered from the sin that so easily entangles you? Let the word of Christ dwell in you.

Do you feel out of control, longing for balance and order in your life? Let the word of Christ dwell in you.

Are you in the middle of great strife and stress not knowing which way to turn? Let the word of Christ dwell in you.

Are you hungry and thirsty, longing for something to change? Let the word of Christ dwell in you.

Are you screaming to get back to normal? Let the word of Christ dwell in you.

"Let every activity of your lives and every word that comes from your lips be drenched with the beauty of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. And bring your constant praise to God the Father because of what Christ has done for you!” Col. 3:17 TPT
